[YGL STYLE FILE] CL - The Baddest Female MV (Clothes Edition)!

After finally finding every pair of shoes Chaerin wore in her sleek and slick “The Baddest Female” MV, it was onto the clothes. Our leader wore a dizzying array of outfits – from urban streetwear to ultra high end couture - CL is a fashionista from head to toe.  And this fashionista took our style team for one crazy outfit ID’ing ride.

Those that follow 2NE1′s style will see many familiar brands as well as a few new ones thrown in the mix. Surprisingly, CL didn’t wear any Balmain, which has been the girls’ go-to brand since 2012. That doesn’t mean she has given up the rock-chic aesthetic Balmain is known to have, as the amazing outfits she donned showcased that side of her and many, many more.

1. Chrome Hearts Half Black/Half White Leather Pants —  As the new endorsement models for Chrome Hearts, it came as no surprise that CL rocks the brand in her new MV. The top may also be Chrome Hearts, but it doesn’t have the tell-tale booty branding that they pants have. As for the price, we can’t find it on sale online (Chrome Hearts items are notorious for not being sold online); we can only guess that these pants are $$$$, especially considering just a CH tank top goes for $600USD.
2. Y-3 Contrast Stripe Sweatpants — For her second scene, CL shows us her abs of steel with some serious hip action in these Adidas sweatpants that are a collaboration between Adidas and  Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto.  They are still available for ~#370USD.
3. Astrid Andersen’s Green Fur Lined Basketball Jersey — After getting grimy in her second scene, CL becomes bright and cute to “do the unnie” with her adorable young back-dancers. The Jersey is long enough to serve as a dress on our pint-sized leader, though she does have safety pants underneath, so don’t worry.
4. Katie Eary Golden Gate Shirt — Looks like CL snagged a new favorite British designer after her trip to London earlier this year – CL’s wearing the shirt around her waist and the jacket with the same design.
5. Versace Silk Cady Long Dress w/Fausto Puglisi sunburst design – Not content with just the lux Versace dress, CL spices things up by taking the sunburst design from  Fausto Puglisi’s wool silk dress and adding it to her Versace, making this piece as one-of-a-kind as she is. You can get Fausto’s dress  here ($4,915USD).
6. Versace Multicolor Rock & Roll Print Dress — Versace makes his second appearance on CL in the next scene we like to call “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde” – or maybe this is “CL vs Lee Chaerin”. In any case, the dress has a bold print but manages not to look chaotic or messy. Paired with a divalicious white fur stole, CL is definitely a divine diva in this look. If only it weren’t $2000USD, we would be all over it.
7. Saint Laurent Pants, Blazer and Ruffled Lace on Silk Georgette Shirt — For those who don’t know, Yves Saint Laurent changed their name to Saint Laurent last year by creative director Hedi Slimane, in an attempt to return to its original essence. If the outfit CL is wearing is any indication, he has definitely succeeded. It’s a simple black suit, but the impeccable tailoring and the added drama from the Georgette shirt kicks it up about 10 notches.
8. Jeremy Scott A/W 2013 Collection — What’s a CL music video without some looks from her BFF Jeremy Scott? Though still very very very colorful, she manages to put together a collection of his clothes that don’t seem as psychedelic. 
9. Nasir Mazhar Bra Top & Fear of God Flannel — For her YG Family Family Family scene, CL goes for another urban look, this time in a plaid shirt, cropped bra top (which some of you will recognize from her W Korea photo shoot earlier this year), and the Y-3 pants appear again.
10. Just Cavalli Orpheus Printed Coat – For her last scene, CL adds even more color to the very colorful hair salon and urban play area. The jacket is reminiscent to the jungle prints the girls wore on the cover of Nylon Japan a while back. Also, it’s not THAT expensive considering it is a coat; it’s only $1,495USD.
11. Balenciaga Crossover Crop Top – 2NE1 LOVE wearing pieces from resort collections, which tend to be more youthful and great summer collections since the girls always seem to be promoting during the hot months. CL  has become really fond of baring her midriff (which we are NOT complaining about) – she has got a great tummy, as seen in this great crop top. - Where is CL’s bustier top from? From the collab between 
12. Jeremy Scott x Adidas’ F/W 2014 collection! Apparently it’s not even on sale to the public yet! How on Jeremy Scott did we miss this? And that’s why YGL is so grateful to have members like bepu27 giving us a heads up. This clever cookie managed to ID the item by looking through Jeremy’s old tweets. <3 Thank you!!

if you follow the paintbrush with your eyes while not moving your head, it forces you to use emdr which is a therapeutic technique to calm anxiety/panic. watching fish swim causes the same effect.
